Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How does the hydroxyl vegetable cleaner work?
A: The DUTRIEUX Hydroxyl Food Cleaner uses a built-in hydroxyl generator to produce hydroxyl molecules in water. These molecules interact with surface residues on fruits, vegetables, and meats, helping to break them down more effectively than plain water rinsing. Simply place the device in a basin filled with water and your produce, then power it on.
Q: What power source does this cleaner require?
A: The cleaner is versatile — it can be powered via USB or battery, operating at 12V and 8W. This makes it suitable for home kitchens as well as on-the-go use in cars, RVs, hotels, and outdoor settings.
Q: What is the minimum basin or bowl size needed?
A: The unit is designed for use in basins or bowls with a capacity greater than 8 litres, allowing you to clean large batches of produce in one cycle.
Q: Does the cleaner use any chemicals or detergents?
A: No. The DUTRIEUX cleaner contains no high-concern chemicals and requires no detergents. It relies entirely on hydroxyl technology activated in plain water to clean your food.
